Important Notice
These Terms & Conditions are a professional template prepared for Desert Dinner Dubai. They should be reviewed and approved by a UAE-licensed legal advisor before publishing. Specific commercial terms (deposit amounts, cancellation windows, liability caps) should be adapted to the actual business operations.
1. Agreement
By making a booking, using our website or attending any experience provided by Desert Dinner Dubai ("we", "our", "us"), you ("Guest", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming a booking.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not proceed with a booking.
2. Definitions
- "Experience" — any private desert dining, event or related service we provide
- "Booking" — a confirmed reservation for an Experience
- "Guest" — the person making the booking and any accompanying participants
- "Deposit" — a partial payment required to confirm a Booking
- "Experience Date" — the date on which the Experience is scheduled
3. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed when:
- You have received written confirmation from us (via email, WhatsApp or messaging)
- Any required deposit has been paid in full
- You have provided accurate details (date, guest count, location, contact information)
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion, with a full refund where applicable.
4. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) or as otherwise specified at the time of booking
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
- The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the Experience, unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept payment via methods communicated during the booking process
- Prices may vary based on season, location, guest count and add-ons
- If actual guest count exceeds the confirmed count, additional charges will apply
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by our separate Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. In summary:
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the Experience Date may be eligible for a refund (minus non-recoverable costs)
- Cancellations within 72 hours may forfeit the deposit
- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may be charged in full
- Specific experiences or peak-season bookings may have different terms — you will be informed at the time of booking
6. Weather Policy
Desert experiences are weather-dependent. Our full Weather Policy describes how we handle unsafe weather conditions. In summary:
- In case of unsafe weather (heavy rain, sandstorms, strong winds), we will offer to reschedule or provide a refund of affected amounts
- Light wind, cooler temperatures or clear weather do not qualify for cancellation
- We monitor conditions closely and will inform you as early as possible
7. Guest Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Arrive on time at the agreed pickup location or destination
- Respect the desert environment, wildlife and local laws
- Follow reasonable instructions from our hosts, drivers and staff
- Inform us in advance of any dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions
- Ensure all accompanying guests understand and follow these Terms
8. Age & Capacity
- Guests of all ages are welcome, though certain experiences are designed primarily for adults
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- The lead guest making the booking confirms they are legally able to enter into this agreement
- Certain activities (such as dune bashing) may have age, height or health restrictions
9. Conduct & Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to any Guest whose behaviour is:
- Unsafe or threatening to themselves or others
- Disruptive to other guests, staff or our operations
- Disrespectful to the environment, culture or local customs
- In violation of UAE law
In such cases, no refund will be provided.
10. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, etc.) if informed at least 48 hours in advance.
While we take food safety seriously, we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free of allergens. Guests with severe allergies must inform us in advance and take appropriate personal precautions.
11. Alcohol & Substances
- Alcohol is not served at our desert experiences unless specifically agreed and licensed
- Any alcohol brought by guests is their own responsibility and subject to UAE law
- Illegal substances are strictly prohibited
- Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused service for safety reasons
Our team or third-party photographers may take photographs or videos during your Experience. We will always ask for your consent before using any images or footage for promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in writing before your Experience. For full details, see our Photography & Media Policy.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Desert Dinner Dubai is not liable for:
- Personal injury caused by a Guest's own negligence or failure to follow instructions
- Loss, theft or damage to personal property
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions or events outside our control
- Actions, omissions or negligence of third-party providers (transport, photography, entertainment)
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Guests participate in activities at their own risk. Where our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific Experience.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Desert Dinner Dubai, its staff, partners and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any law
- Your negligence or misconduct
- Damage caused by you or your guests to property, environment or other persons
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather or natural disasters
- Government restrictions, closures or regulations
- Pandemics, epidemics or public health emergencies
- Strikes, civil unrest or security incidents
- Failure of essential utilities or infrastructure
In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide an appropriate refund.
16. Transport & Pickup
- Pickup times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather or operational reasons
- Guests must be ready at the agreed pickup point at the specified time
- We are not responsible for delays caused by guests not being ready on time
- Any additional charges for extra transport or extended waiting will be communicated in advance
17. Insurance
We recommend that all Guests have appropriate travel, medical and personal accident insurance covering the duration of their stay in the UAE and any activities they participate in.
Our experiences may include activities (such as dune bashing, camel riding or desert walks) that carry inherent risks. It is the Guest's responsibility to ensure they are adequately insured.
