All Desert Dinner Dubai experiences take place in outdoor desert environments. Weather is an important factor in the safety and enjoyment of every experience. This Weather Policy explains how we handle weather-related situations.
By booking with us, you agree to this Weather Policy, which forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Our Approach To Weather
We monitor weather forecasts and real-time conditions closely in the days and hours leading up to your experience. Our priority is always:
- The safety of our guests, staff and third-party partners
- The comfort and quality of your experience
- Fairness and transparency in how we handle changes
Types Of Weather We Monitor
- Heavy rain — floods desert access roads and makes setups unsafe
- Sandstorms — reduce visibility and cause respiratory discomfort
- High winds — unsafe for tents, tables, candles and outdoor dining
- Extreme heat — unsafe during summer daytime hours
- Lightning or thunderstorms — immediate safety hazard
- Fog — can make driving conditions unsafe
Weather That Is Generally Fine
Most weather conditions in Dubai's desert are safe and enjoyable. We do not cancel or reschedule for:
- Light breeze or gentle wind
- Cool temperatures (which are often ideal for desert evenings)
- Clear skies, cloudy skies or partial cloud cover
- Light drizzle that clears quickly
- Dust haze (unless visibility is significantly reduced)
Our Decision-Making Process
When weather conditions are uncertain, we follow this process:
- Monitor: We check forecasts from multiple sources daily, and hour-by-hour on the day of your experience
- Assess: We evaluate safety, comfort and feasibility of your specific setup and location
- Decide: Our team makes a decision as early as possible
- Notify: We contact you immediately by WhatsApp, phone and/or email
- Reschedule or refund: We offer the option that works best for you
If We Cancel Or Reschedule
If we decide to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe weather, we will offer you:
- Free rescheduling to an alternative date (subject to availability), or
- Full refund of amounts paid for the affected booking, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs (where applicable)
We do not charge cancellation fees for weather-related cancellations initiated by us.
If You Want To Cancel Due To Weather
If the weather forecast looks uncertain and you wish to cancel:
- More than 72 hours before: standard Cancellation Policy applies
- Within 72 hours: standard Cancellation Policy applies, unless we agree that the conditions are unsafe
- If we mutually agree that conditions are unsafe, we treat it as a weather cancellation (no fee)
Weather During The Experience
If weather unexpectedly changes during your experience:
- If it is unsafe — we may need to move to a sheltered location, shorten the experience or return early. Safety always comes first.
- If it is uncomfortable but not unsafe — we may adjust your setup (e.g., add covers, move tables) to keep you comfortable.
- If a significant portion is lost — we will discuss a partial refund or credit proportionate to the disruption.
Refunds For Weather Cancellations
Refunds for weather cancellations are processed according to our Refund Policy. We aim to process refunds within 7–14 business days.

We will communicate weather-related decisions through the primary contact method you provided at booking. Please ensure your phone, WhatsApp and email details are correct.
